Heraf al Deiar School of Handicrafts is a project of the Shaikh Ebrahim Center aimed at reviving traditional and Islamic arts and crafts here in Bahrain.  The mission of the school is to provide education to enhance and reinforce skills of craftsmen so that they may apply their knowledge and abilities in a wider field.

Training at the School of Handicrafts will result in a vocational certificate in Traditional Islamic Art & Handicrafts.  The training addresses both practical and theoretical aspects of traditional craftsmanship in a comprehensive manner.

The School of Handicrafts is sponsored by Kuwait Finance House.
